ANIMAL TRAPS 1-25-06
Recently, Mike McGrew and Bruce Holloway came across a magnificent Bobcat caught in a trap near the rock art panels they were monitoring. Not only are the traps dangerous for us as we monitor our sites, they are cruel and cause untold pain and suffering to the poor trapped animal. This UNFORTUNATE Bobcat had a broken leg. It was unknown as to how long it had been trapped.
Finding traps around rock art sites is becoming a common occurance in Lincoln County.
Anyone have any ideas as to how
this cruelty can be stopped?
